Bhell HELL

Back in the summer I ordered a phone line with a jack and paid a hefty fee
A third party provider provisioned DSl on the line.
Tech goes out to put in the modem and router.. can't find the phone line.

Ok call 611
and so it goes....

Call 611 “oh we only repair, not locate” call a number in the the city the line is in
Oh we’re only the long distance department
Let me get you the business office
Transfering…
Oh you have a dedicated rep
Transferring….
You have to send an email to …..
How long will that take
A week
WTF I can’t wait a week
Call 611..
I did that’s what caused this bloody loop in the first place..

Who in their right mind pays for a phone jack from Bell these days. Maybe you should spend more time in here reading on how to install one instead of tormenting poor little DJ.

I don't understand, you have a burried line and it wasnt working on installation? Why didn't the tech run a temporary line? We dont generally locate and repair burried service wires...

No it wasn't a buried line, it was a POTS line put in a location. the installers couldn't find it, either at the location or at the bix.
