[Phish] Another possible Target Data BreachGot an e-mail using Target branding saying my order has shipped to the store and I can pick it up within four days. Click link for more information. I rarely shop online so I knew it was phishing. And the e-mail wasn't even an official Target E-mail. And guess what, this is Christmas, not thanksgiving.

Just plain spam, no data breach. See » Spam for more discussion. |

I rarely get spam as I'm careful who I give my e-mail address out to. |

OK, wonderful, but it's still phishing spam and doesn't show there was any breach at Target. |

Target has my E-mail as I have their debit card and I've bought stuff online occasionally there. |

The email doesn't use your name so it's unlikely that it's a hack. If they went to the effort to hack your Target to steal your email, they would have stolen your name as well to make the phish more legitimate appearing. |

It's a standard "blast" method claiming to be from Target, immitating but not very well since the email is not even hard ot track it's obvious a spam bot network sending out every possible permutation of the email to your ISP and hoping it hits.
Garbage and throw it out ignore it. Target has enough issues with security they don't need false alarm claims. |
