[CFL] Cisco DTA 170HD Menu HDMI SettingHi. Can anyone address this issue: I manually set this position to 1080i vs. "auto" but invariably this setting is not retained between TV viewing sessions (1080i setting necessary because I have DTA plugged via AV Receiver, to avoid momentary flashes and distortions when changing channels between cable channels w/ different output resolution formats, ex: fox nws not 1080i).
To restate: How to force the Cisco DTA to remember the manual setting of HDMI to 1080i and not revert to "auto".
Thanks. |

It retains it just fine...something else is going on here....you removing power entirely from the DA when not in use? |

I've set dozens to 1080i and I've never had one "forget" what resolution it was coded to. Something else is at play here. |
