Samsung smart watchI am looking at one of these. » www.bestbuy.com/site/sam ··· =1045059Does it have any benefit to the user or should I wait for the Apple Watch. I wish they had a Verizon version. Could I use one of these if I'm an iPhone user. |

Like a $40k Vacheron Constantin it's expensive eye candy with not much benefit over anything else. It probably will connect to an iPhone but without full function. |

FWIW, the website Engadget has rated it as the one of the "worst gadgets of 2014." » www.engadget.com/2014/12 ··· of-2014/ |

I guess I'll wait for the Apple Watch. No subscription required as it ties to the iPhone. |

That review sounds heavily biased to me. While it is pretty huge, i've heard good things on it. My biggest drawback is that it's tied to Samsung.
No Samsung watch will work with your iPhone. |

The gear s needs a data plan on your account which will cost ya 10 bucks a month. Then there is the price of this beta product. Again of your using a iPhone the only watch that works well with it is the pebble. Android wear is nice but its evolving. As will the kiddy looking I watch. |

$60 a year to use a "watch" that cost $330 that does nothing more than what your phone already does. Spend $60 once on a Timex or Seiko and you'll be all set for 10 years. With any gadget if you can't identify an immediate need then you probably don't need it. |
