[IPv6] SBG6580 and IPv6 - is it ever happening?

Does anyone know if Comcast has given up at this point on enabling IPv6 for the SBG6580? I know there have been a few software updates and subsequent regressions. Just wondering if any progress had been made there.

My SBG6580 is sitting in the closet waiting for IPv6. Maybe IPv8 will be available before Comcast/Arris has IPv6 working on the SBG6580.

Yeah, I've just caved and bought an SB6183, and an AC router. Both are hooked up now, and the old 6580 is going to be on eBay shortly.

Thanks for the effort though. Not sure what the deal is with the 6580, but it seems like Arris/what's left of Motorola can't seem to support it for anything.

IPv4 space is limited and with the Internet of Everything coming down the pipe IP's will be needed..
