I've been using CM Browser...

Can the built in antivirus and browsing preloader/accelerator be disabled?

You can install just the browser by itself: »play.google.com/store/ap ··· obile.cb

However, it seems to be picky on what you can install it on. For some reason, it'll work on both my Galaxy S4's, but not on my Galaxy Tab Pro 10, or my ASUS Memo pad FHD 10. Weird.

Dolphin is the best. It's the closest experience in android to browsing web on pc.

Dolphin is also somewhat or a resource pig

Gives a seamless experience, don't think there are any reasons to complain. At times, my Mozialla consumes around 1.5 gig on desktop.

In the occasions I browse online via my smartphone, I utilize Firefox mostly because I can utilize ad-blocker for it when browsing sites through it.

seamless is chrome. Same on my pc, android phone, android tablet, work pc and my mac. All my bookmarks and recent searches are there. Less typing is what im looking for.

Re: Which is a good browser for Android?

both chrome and firefox seem laggy to me. Boat's performance was better bot great. Does Boat get better if you use the paid version?

Seems overly hard to get the sweet spot of performance and adblocking...

When it works Dolphin is great. Unfortunately it crashes with great regularity. Sometimes several times a day. Most irritating.

I agree. I like Dolphin a lot, but it's buggy and I use Chrome instead.

A lot depends on your device and specifically its RAM and to lesser degree CPU.
Some still only have 512 MB and can bog down easy, especially if you have background Apps.(like all those thing that update and check status, that are to some degree running)

Just switched from one with 1GB to a 2GB one and the difference with anything is night and day.

I tend to run chrome on newer better spec'd devices and boat on everything else.

wow, Habit browser is great! lag free, very good ad blocking built in. One you go through all the settings, it's perfect.
