It is not clear to me if any inbound emails have been lost or if the email issues only pertain to accessing email. I haven't received some emails that I was expecting, but IMAP and POP3 still seems hit or miss.

Were incoming emails lost? Did the sender receive a bounce/retry message?

the sending mail server should be keeping it in queue and attempt to deliver it eventually. it might take several hours or even a day for the missing mail to eventually be delivered.

Possibly use another email? such as... gmail, hotmail, yahoo... I'm sure there are a ton of other ones that you could choose from? Always an option!
