Time to get the popcorn. I think SEA has a fair to good chance of beating GB. |

A stationery Rodgers will be fodder for that defense. Couple that with the deafening noise at Century Link I really can't see them lose and I don't even like them. |

Bobbby Wagner, Kam Chancellor, and Richard Sherman are certainly licking their chops. |

I lost interest after Peyton Manning was eliminated. Not being from the US I support no particular team but the person. Been watching Manning for years and was hoping that his comeback, after neck surgery, would have a storybook ending. I think that was his last game.
Can't bring myself to choose between Seattle (who spend most of their time being loud mouths except for Russell Wilson) and NE (who always seem to win).
Trying to support Indy but can't see them beat NE. They have absolutely no running game. Actually Dallas would fare better in the Championship round. |

I think you will find its Richard Sherman (SEA #24) who is the main loud mouth. Others, especially Marshawn Lynch (SEA #25), don't speak much at all. |

So. I am in London at the moment and was totally sweating not being able to catch the Pats game... when my buddy who I am staying with found this little gem on Sky Sports which is basically the British version of ESPN. Although gotta say this will be a first... watching a football game that starts at 11:30 PM.... while watching it with a handful of people who know as much about American football than people in this room would know about Cricket.   |
|
|
Dang, the game is not starting too well for the Seahawks, although they did escape with only 2 field goals .... |

That was a GREAT fake. That's the way to get back into a ballgame. |
|
|
Now, it's a game, but with only about 2 mins remaining, Sea needs a miracle to win this game.... |

How on earth did GB blow that game?! |
|
|
Continued their recent tradition in Seattle, perchance? BTW, it's almost like July 4th in here. And I guess this can be considered a make-up game for last year's boring superbowl. Although personally I prefer boring games... but whatever. |

No, Seattle never quit. Green Bay thought they had the game won when they went up 19-7. Then, they played not to lose. Seattle played to win. |

Agreed on Seattle, not so sure about Green Bay playing not to lose. Green Bay looked unbeatable coming out of the gate. Then, I started to see a lot of costly mistakes. Randall Cobb missed his route and that resulted in an interception. He also committed a false start that might or might not have been costly but it didn't help. When Brandon Bostick closed his eyes and let the on-sides kick bounce off his pumpkin head, that was just more sloppy football, which I don't like to see, not so much playing not to lose, imo. |

With all that went wrong with GB, I'd still like to nominate Mike Daniels as the goat for his selfish taunting penalty on the first drive.
Most of the other stuff was physical mistakes. That happens. No reason to get in a guys face and taunt him and most likely cost your team 4 points.
Would once love to see coach send a guy to the showers for something like that. |
