Comcast XFINITY → [Equip] Log into my emta

I have the 862 emta and cant remember how to access the router settings. Anyone know?

I think that the factory default settings are IP address 10.0.0.1 admin/password. If you perhaps have changed the gateway's LAN IP address, you can look at any attached PC device that uses DHCP and look for the default gateway IP address. You should be able to use netstat -r -n on just about any operating system to find that information.

Also if any settings were changed in the gateway, you could factory reset it.

I think im going to have to reset it. i can get to the page but it wont let me in. how do i do that.
