Data Usage Page Not UpdatingThe Suddenlink Georgetown, TX bandwidth usage page hasn't updated for me the last two days. What aggravates me is Suddenlink claims at the bottom of the page that: In those cases where a new update to this page shows no incremental usage in the 24 hours since the last update, one of two conditions apply: either (a) there was no incremental usage in that time period; or (b) the transmission of daily usage (from our counter to this page) was delivered too late to be deemed useful to the customer and was thus not counted and not applied to the customer's usage total. Item (b) sounds great except at least once my usage didn't update for a couple of days then showed all the missed usage when it did update. In a broader sense I don't think it's reasonable Suddenlink only updates this counter daily and with a 9-hour lag time (for Central time zone customers). The people who actually look at this page need minute-by-minute or at least hourly stats. |

the data cap is only there to make extra profit for Suddenlink.
it's deliberately designed so that you have no way of keeping an accurate track of your usage. I would call that borderline consumer fraud. Suddenlink can easily implement a live usage tracking page but they've chosen not to. Or at the very least, they can give customers an option to cut off internet connection when the cap is reached... and give the customer the choice to agree to pay $10 for another 50gb. (if you don't want it, you can choose not to pay extra and just rely on some other form of internet connection)
if your frequently exceed your cap by even 10gb, you should consider paying another $20 to go to the next highest speed tier.

Cell phone carriers don't even track data live if you read the fine print. It really boils down to the fact it's unregulated though and can meter however they want. |

I have no idea how they track usage on my cell phone.... I still have Verizon unlimited data plan and use roughly 780gb per month. (usually start hotspotting off my phone after I've reached my 250gb cap on the Suddenlink connection) |

Neither has Amarillo... Looks like 2 free days since it says that if they don't update it is not counted |

Doesn't really matter. For some reason my down channel has drop down to 1 channel. So its going slow. Maybe that means they are upgrading to speed us up. The SL lady here said it was looking to be around the 18th. Might also be why the bandwidth counter isn't working. |

I noticed last night that my meter hasn't updated since the 16th. Now I can't even access it. |

The usage meter updated today. My two missing days weren't counted in the total... I used easily 100GB those two days but my total only went up 10GB. |

My meter are also missing data for those 2 days. They just show 0 on both, and I know I used way more than 0. |

Ditto for me, 0 for both. Since I'm currently at 394GB (on a 250GB limit ) I do not want more usage, since I roll over tomorrow. |

Still not showing any dates passed the 15th yet, lol |

For the end of the month it showed the 17th and 18th it shows 0 data and then showed on the 19th I used over 59GB of data which I know for a fact we didn't use on that say since we wait for the month to roll over (the 20th for us) if we have any large downloads waiting. To me this shows they're counting all 3 day's data on the last day even though they claim it's supposed to not count, and considering how much they've changed their fine print and how often they defend their inaccurate meters I'm not too shocked. |
