Re: Fibe 50 & fibetv pair bonding profiles?

How close are you running that test with 50 down? The max ive seen pairbond customers get wirelessly is usually about 30 meg...

Oddly enough, I was running speed tests the other night, maybe 10 feet from the 2000 (I'm bonded @ 50/10 according to the technicians, max attainable is 92Mbps) on my iPad 3 and can't break 20Mbps on the 2.4 or 5.0 bands. I picked up my g/f's iPad Air and ran the same test, on the 5Ghz the iPad Air reported 40-45 every single time, on the 2.4Ghz it wouldn't break 22Mbps.

Is there a reason wireless is this limited when running on a bonded pair? I'm new to the DSL world so I'm sort of leaning as I go. It is sufficient for what we need the wireless for, but I initially thought something was wrong with the Home Hub, good to know it isn't just me .

Get a real wifi router!

No, seriously, at best, the hh1000/2000 are basic wifi access points.
My iPad mini 2 has no issues hitting 150 down on an ac66u.

Just had the install today for the pair bonding fibe50 plus tv. We tested 3 hd + 1 sd channels being recorded, and I was able to pull the full 50-52Mbps down. Just tested again, few hours later, and it seems the profile has gone down to what he initially had it set (45Mbps down with all channels being recorded).

Is there anyway someone could link the correct profile so I could possibly call in and have it set?

Thankyou

Noticed the same thing. I have 50-10 (not bonded pairs) and the Home Hub 2000. Will use my iPhone 6, which by the way supports 802.11 AC, on the 5ghz band, which i have reserved for AC devices, and only get about 30 or 40 IF I'M LUCKY! Not sure what the problem is....

The problem is the home hubs. They are basic wireless devices. Anything over 25 mbps is a struggle even on thr 5.0 AC band. Really makes me question who certified these devices as wireless AC routers.
