BTW - From additional postings to that thread today, 2.0 is also supposed to add a "power saver mode" option and support for the new XR11 Voice Controlled remote (»Re: [X1-X2] New XR11v2 Voice Remote ).

To check the firmware version, they say to select in the menu Xfinity -> Gear -> About and then look at the "Receiver: Native version:" info [it should show either "1.3.4" (old) or "2.0" (new)].

So you will finally be able to turn your X1 box off with the remote.
