Visio 2013 -- default text for "Edit Text"I need to draw some Visio drawing that has lots of shapes with text inside. The default text is Calibri 8, and I have to change it manually to Arial 10 for each entry, and that's getting a little tiring pretty quickly.
How can I set the default text from Calibri 8 to Arial 10?

Well, I don't use Visio but does this help? » answers.microsoft.com/en ··· d59efaae |

Well, I found one somewhat tricky way to do it automatically. Since my drawing had like 50 pieces of the same shape, I put some text into the first one, set the size, and then deleted the text. Then I just used "duplicate" (Ctrl-D) to draw the rest of the shapes, and they were all preset to the correct font size.
This is the first time I've used visio, and it's not a pleasant experience. As a matter of fact I'm currently in the process of trying to install cygwin & xfig for a more sensible drawing package. |

Glad you found a work around.
I haven't used Visio for many years. Hopefully one of the others will do what you need. |
