I can't either. The server does however appear to respond to ping.

I'm guessing things will be fine soon. Nitzan was active here just a few hours before the outage.

For those who originally had no incoming calls, did things start working after traffic got routed to Fremont?

Website again down.

And again, (future-nine.com) does not respond to ping, but (fremont.future-nine.com) does respond.

I think that anyone can have an outage---and many/most [have] had outages---

But after so many hours there needs to at least be a Tweet or something similar.

Sorry for the late update. The gist of it is we're dealing with a brute force/DDOS attack - same guy(s) who's been doing it repeatedly in the past. Not sure if it's deliberate or just trying to hack accounts (unsuccessfully), but we keep banning his IPs and he keeps coming back with different ones. We're working on more automated ways to mitigate this and will soon have it permanently resolved.

Can confirm attacks (both automated and targeted) are a PITA. It's the online equivalent of vandalism.

You have my condolences.

I've been using the fremont server for some months now with no issues.

As far as the DDOS behavior, I remember all too well when CallCentric experienced the same kind of activity followed by a 100 year storm/flood.
