[CFL] cant get ANY ports to forward Cisco E3500 and Surfboard 6580

I have CFL RR lightning with an owner-owned and BHN provisioned Surfboard 6580, and an E3500 Cisco router.

I *believe* the router is bridged- set NAPT mode to disabled, etc. A guide I read set to set RG Passthough to YES in ADVANCED, but I don't have any RG PASSTHROUGH setting on my Surfboard. Anyhow- I no longer can log into 192.168.0.1 (it times out now), but internet is working fine. So i think I'm bridged.. But that missing RG PASSTHROUGH may be a clue- like I need a firmware update perhaps?

I also set the MAC PASSTHROUGH value as the LAN MAC.

Then I went into the Cisco and added 80 and 8080 ports and pointed those at a LAN IP which I know responds since I can bring it up on my browser with the LAN address 192.168.1.200 . There is no firewall on that node runnning (its an IP camera).

But if I try access it from anywhere (inside or outside my LAN) as 111.111.111.111 or 111.111.111.111:8080 , (substitute my WAN address for the 111's) it always times out. I also checked it on port-check sites, and they always say CLOSED, or in some cases:

An operation was attempted on something that is not a socket 50.89.226.226:80

Advice is apprecaited. I had this all working previously with an N600 router and a different modem.

All you needed to change was NAPT and DHCP. Once this is done the modem is nothing but a modem. All port and router functions are now all about your router not our modem.

I found the problem. I've had the same IP for like years but after changing to BRIDGE mode, for some reason it gave me a new WAN IP. Entered that, joy .

Yes when you bridge your IP will almost always change
