Verizon FiOS → Internet Outage

I'm in Queens, New York City. Anyone else experiencing an Internet Service Disruption? Cant find any other reports online.

I am in mid NJ and Internet light is orange whole day. Tried a backup rev D router, same issue.
Verizon support can't figure it out and is sending tech out in 3 days. No outage reported either.
It could be due to cold weather...

Thx fb88. Seems it was widespread in my area, was restored within 4 hours. Why doesnt Verizon have a better way to check for System wide outages?

Using your Smartphone or other Wireless device, go to www.verizon.com/outage , sign-in, and you will be notified of outages in your area and given the opportunity to create a "Repair request" for your area.

Just saying!!!

Mine went down for a little over an hour last night between 1 and 2 AM. Only realized it because my IP was changed this morning. Not sure what they did.
