Granted, they don't tell you when your promo is about to expire... That would be a nice touch on the bill, i.e.: "Your promotion bundle pricing expires on ***/in ** billing cycles." |

Actually they have started notifying you when a promotion is expiring. I got a whole separate letter about mine a few months back. It wasn't on the bill itself. |

From what I've seen: up to two years. You need to read the fine print where they state the time and all the extra asterisk fees and taxes that are added on. |

what I don't understand is why BHN (and other cable services probably to be fair) aren't being more competitive with the rates. We are eventually, I hope, moving away from this cable service and going to an internet ala-carte service. And how they think $200 a month is reasonable is just nuts. Not sure why they aren't trying to stay in the game more. |

Just to ensure we are comparing apples to apples here, I have the one cable card as I use a Tivo 6 tuner Roamio with two Tivo Minis. This allows me to use 3 TVs, with only one cable card thus keeping my cost down. It is a shame I can not give them back that one receiver to get that savings, but if I do, the whole package apparently falls apart so I just keep it in the closet. |

Your cable card is a direct box replacement otherwise and if you are told otherwise I want to know about it so I can get it fixed. |
