DJboutit 's claims of Comcast "throttling" have been dismissed in previous threads: » [Signals] How Do I check Signal Levels On A Cisco dpc3939 xb3» [Speed] Houston TX Meyerland Willowbend Area Dirt Slow Upload SpeedHis posted speed test results have shown that he's getting the access line speeds that he's subscribed to. The lower data transfer rates experienced with some internet sites are just a result of how fast a site's server can supply him data, network congestion, etc. |

Hopefully this makes Comcast think twice about their stupid 300GB cap or at least this ruling helps speed up getting Google fiber or another fiber competitor in my area. |

My conjecture: fun and exciting new fees and taxes to make up for the cost(s) of implementing it. Actually, I don't think there would be any "implementation costs" involved. Only a loss of the additional income from charging firms like Netflix for priority/direct access to their network, etc. |
