DS blinking on 3 second interval - Orleans/CableI have had sporadic problems over the last few months. Most problems have fixed themselves by the next day. Tonight I am noticing the DS led is on a 3 second on/off cycle. Net seems fine but that led is usually solid.
My modem look ok. If anyone knows anything about it. Hopefully I have service tomorrow.

Hello Tomvalenz,
Thank you for letting us know of this issue. Currently we do not have issues in your area posted. Your signal levels are in spec however if you are noticing the service is disconnecting (as you mentioned maybe you will have service tomorrow) the issue could be somewhere else. Please post in the Direct Forum so we can investigate some other things to diagnose what is happening with your connection.
Regards, |

I probably will do that, I'll wait till morning. It's ongoing as of today. I agree signals look pretty good too. As chrisadmin says, I could reset my modem but then I could risk downtime if it's DHCP or something. |

The modem log files might give some indication of an intermittent issue.
