[Speed] Old problem, same problem - SB6141 slow

OK I just "upgraded" my sb6120 to the sb6141 due to continuous drops in service. Comcast provisioned my 6141 this morning, and though I am on the Blast package I am getting avg 7mb down and 7 mb up. Even with the drops on my 6120 I was getting 60/10 average. Here's my logs and speedtest. I bought the 6141 with firmware already installed with Komodo .14 version.
Model Name: SB6141
Vendor Name: Motorola
Firmware Name: SB_KOMODO-1.0.6.14-SCM01-NOSH
Boot Version: PSPU-Boot(25CLK) 1.0.12.18m3
Hardware Version: 7.0
Serial Number: 397179431542207601012022
Firmware Build Time: Mar 6 2014 15:23:55

By reading all this I am guessing I probably should send it back and get another modem brand.

Which brand is working best for Comcast right now?

Thanks for the help in advance.

[Speed] Re: Old problem, same problem - SB6141 slow

Ok, just did some further checking. My devices running on my home WIFI network are all getting ~60mbs down and ~10mbs up. My desktop, which is HARDWIRED to my router, is getting the slow speeds. Any ideas? I'll start research while I wait to hear back from someone here who might know what this means. Thanks!

Could mean that the network port (or the entire switch) on your router which you have your desktop plugged into is going bad.
