Huawei HG610 ADSL2 Configuration

Click for full size
Hi, I recently bought a Huawei HG610 but I can't get the "internet" led to light up.
I couldn't find much information on how to configure this modem except for changing the VPI/VCI.
I've tried going into the ATM settings and putting 0/33 for the VPI/VCI.
Is there something I'm missing?

Currently using a Thompson Speedtouch 516 and it works fine.

Perhaps try DSL? Just a thought...

So you configured your layer 2 settings, now you have to click WAN and setup your connection. Select your ATM interface, choose either routed or bridged mode, if you choose routed you'll see a section to enter your PPPoE credentials.

I could be doing it wrong, but my Actiontec v1000h (on VDSL2) has defaulted to PTM (after I configured ATM offline). I remember having to set VPI/VCI on the speedtouch way back when so it could be different, or the GUI is playing games with me.

Success! I finally got it to work.
Turns out all I had to do was uncheck the boxes for WAN 802.1q and 802.1p.
I couldn't get it to work in bridged mode for ADSL2 though.

Umm... Telus doesn't use PPPoE...
