I looked around in my modem's config, I don't see a remote management option like in most routers (port 8080)...
I have mine in bridge mode, so not all items are shown. |

This is all under Advanced Configuration:
1. Under Management > Access Control > Services, enable WAN access for HTTP or whatever else you want.
2. Under Management > Access Control > Access List, add the IP address you'll be connecting from. If you want to allow all IPs, the modem doesn't support a /0 range so you'll have to add 2 entries (something like "0.0.0.1/1" and "128.0.0.0/1").
3. Under Management > Access Control > Passwords, change the password for the "support" account (defaults to support/support).
Now when you try to log in remotely, log in with the support account and your password. The admin and user accounts don't work for remote access. |

This works! However, it works without doing step #2. When I tried step #2 it caused me to be able to ping/trace but not surf! |
