[U-Verse] CT Offerings Price List -

Well, since my post in the large CT thread is not editable now I decided to make a new list. I wasn't told the correct information in my last post so I need to make some corrections. Plus, I wanted to add some more items to it. The promotions are a little annoying to understand it seems, so I'm trying my best to make sense of how they're working in CT. Please correct me if something is not right based on your bill. Figured I would make a list to reference back to if ever needed and for anyone looking to see how they can save more money on their current Frontier bill. This list will primarily focus on what's available to ex. U-verse(ADSL2+/VDSL2) eligible homes.

Old post - »Re: Incoming From CT - Looking For Answers(Based off Verizon Sale)

Let me know if something doesn't look right. I made this list based on what's on the website, but also based on my few conversations with Frontier. I tried filling in the tier gaps(that aren't shown on the website) based on what I know and how their promotions work. Is there anything else that you feel should be on the list?

What are the details of the "Residence 1 party flat rate" voice plan?

Basically from what I was told its unlimited local calls but long distance calls are something like $0.22 per minute. Don't think its listed publicly its one of those plans they offer but you have to call them and ask for it.

Darn, realized the Phone only section was messed up when I added that extra thing to it.
It should read:
* PHONE:
- Voice 200 = $25(200 minutes, $.07 for additional) - VoIP
- Voice Unlimited = $35 - VoIP
- Voice International = $40 - VoIP
- Digital Phone Essentials = $27.99 - POTS(30 minutes, $.10 for additional)
- Digital Phone Unlimited = $30.99 - POTS
- Residence 1 Party Flat Rate = $23.00 - POTS(unlimited local, $.22 per minute long distance?) - See Bennor's post below

Frontier also seems to be doing the following now:

I saw an ad for FrontierTV U200 and Max Plus internet for $79.99. Same price as listed above, but now they seem to be adding a $200 prepaid card onto it if you sign a 1 year contract.

Not sure if this applies to other internet + TV bundles and triple plays.

Any ideas on the adsl pricing?

Im trying to get something in writing for 06791

if i go to the frontier main site it looks wrong. Thinks there is vdsl "uverse" here since it lists the higher tiers.

If i goto this reseller »www.frontierinternet.com ··· ing.html
they list internet starting at $19 with out phone.

ADSL pricing is the same as the "INTERNET ONLY" section.
(add $5 for non auto pay)
Pro(3/.378k?) = $29.99 for 3 years
Max(6/678k?) = $29.99 for 3 years

To find the bundled promotion pricing, take the $19.99 for either Pro/Max bundled pricing and add in the POTS pricing listed under the "Phone" section of the "Basic Prices" section.

For example,
Max($19.99) + Digital Phone Essentials($27.99) = $47.98 for 3 years

When you say "
if i go to the frontier main site it looks wrong. Thinks there is vdsl "uverse" here since it lists the higher tiers."

What tab does it say that on? If it shows higher tiers on the "Internet+Phone" tab of the Frontier website, then you have what used to be U-verse available. If it shows an error for that tab, then it's ADSL, if not, then it's either ADSL2+ or VDSL(depending on whether TV is available).

It errors out on the internet+phone
It lists DiSH plans all with 6m on internet+phone+TV

But on the internet it lists 5 plans all the way up to 45meg "Simply Broadband Power"

There is no Uverse at this location. I walked it out and found a normal dslam/pots/cross box setup 4K feet away.

Yeah, still ADSL then.

Were you looking for internet + phone pricing(which I put in my last post) or were you looking for Dish + Internet + Phone pricing? I'm not sure exactly of that pricing. They seem to post different prices around the sites.

Edit: If you're looking for Dish + Internet + Phone, there are the prices I have seen for 6 Mbps + Top 120 + Unlimited phone

- $94.99 for 12 months for TV(3 year price for internet/phone) 24 month Dish contract(NOTES: This is for U-verse eligible customers, says no TV equipment fees)
- $115.97 for 12 months for TV(3 year price for internet/phone) 24 month Dish contract(NOTES: Listed on 3rd party site, says no TV equipment fees)
- $70.97 for 6 months for TV(3 year price for internet/phone) 24 month Dish contract
(NOTES: Listed on 3rd party site, fees apply)

ok i put an address around the block and get something different now.

12 cottage rd, harwinton ct 06791

There definitely is no uverse here but now its listing uverse plans under all 3 tabs.

This seems to be why ordering internet at my house turned in to a total cluster F#. Their database is wrong for this town.

I wonder how to get it fixed?

So plans such as U200 are available under the other tabs for all of your neighbors? Are you sure it's not available?

You could always contact someone such as the general manager to see if they do anything about it.

To be honest though, you could try ordering and at the time of install, ask them to order the proper services assuming that it's actually available. For example, order 6 Mbps and when they arrive, ask for FrontierTV and VDSL internet availability. If the tech says you're eligible, have them upgrade you. That requires a lot of luck though .
