Ironically, a couple weeks before "Superfish" surfaced from the murky depths, I purchased a Lenovo Yoga 2, completely ignorant of the fact it was Android based. Not paying much attention to smart phone technology, I did not know Android was developed by Google. In less than 30 minutes, it was packed back in the box and returned. I decided I didn't need a tablet after all and went out and purchased a 27" monitor instead. Much better decision.

I use privacy guard to disable camera function for anything that doesn't need it. Currently, that's everything.

Rooted Nexus7.

Same as one for phones. root recovery and change the rom. This lets you have total control over every aspect of the device.
