Privacy and Job Searching

Do you guys usually remove personal information like phone numbers, home address, etc. when applying for jobs online? E-mail address and others are easy to dump if needed. I'd hate to see what some of these recruiters and others do with the information.

Thank you in advance.

How can you? With out that information they can not contact you etc. That is the part i hate about them. I never put in applications on line. If there is no other option i just do not apply.

Yeah, so far I did not include my phone numbers, exact location where I live, etc. Frustrating when trying to keep privacy these days.

You could always setup a box (FREE) and have them leave you messages in that

Info to set one up: 206-376-5000

1 time I set one up and entered "00000" for my zip code.. (Ah man!!)

Have you considered a disposable phone? Keep it strictly for this purpose, then dump it. You don't need to give an exact address, just something within reasonable traveling distance.
