3gp video files?

I have windows 7 64 bit sp1. Any idea why I am not able to play 3gp video files from a smart phone?

Most likely you don't have the necessary codec installed.

Do you think they would play with a different player, like Quick-time Player?

At a guess, I would recommend VLC over Quicktime.

And for the future I would see if there is an option to change the video type in the phone. I know mine dumps out MP4s.

But I second VLC it is the goto when you do not know if it can be played, Because odds are it can play it.

If that is the case and you want to use any other player that did not work you need a codec pack.
