I tried it out compared to speedtest.net and the one you recommend said I was getting 45 down and 8 up, whereas speedtest.net showed 144 down and 13 up.
Perhaps they are using non location optimized test servers?
interesting. I got longer pings but... I'm on a 60/10 package and it showed me getting 58 down. Maybe if start were to add themselves as a preferred server?
Looks like they improved the test, before was giving anywhere from 20 - 40 on my 60/10, 58/9. Pings are still high but that's to be expected with the long geography the traffic will have to route through.
Looks like the same HTML5 test speedof.me uses but looks to be more reliable.
