Moving from bundle to broadband only?

Hi...

I currently have a TV/broadband/phone bundle. Don't really need the phone anymore, and looking into using a Roku to handle most video stuff... so considering just going with a broadband subscription. The question I have is this... some of the programs we watch online require an account with a cable provider, and obviously currently logging in with RCN account. Does anyone know if that ability will still be there if I get rid of the TV package? I read elsewhere that even with a broadband only subscription, a minimal amount of TV channels are still provided, not sure if that's true... anyone have experience doing something like this?

thanks....

if you get rid of tv, those logins will work for another day or two. there is an authentication process where the network will verify your level of subscription before allowing you or denying you access to content. nice try but no!
