[Laptop] Lenovo T60/T61 4:3

Any T60/T61 4:3 owners here?

To equal the same screen height as the T60, I would need an 18" 1080p laptop. So, I've looked at 17" and 18" 1080p laptops but am turned off by the offset touchpad, keyboard and the overall size of the machine.

I've found a few 1024x768 rugged laptops still on the market such as the C-31 or the GD8000 but these are not quite what I am looking for.

Sigh; I may just stick with my T60 until I can't get replacement parts anymore.

What did you find as a suitable replacement to your aging T60?

I just got used to the shorter screen.

I personally found more use for the width over the height, obviously your needs are probably different.

For my workstation, wide screen is fine, and I'd even go 21:9. Current setup is 42" 16:9 landscape and 24" 9:16 portrait. But for a laptop I prefer 3:2, 4:3, or 5:4.

My reason for looking for alternatives is my T60 screen is starting to dim. For $70, I think I'll just buy the flexview IPS screen and replace it myself.

I haven't used a 4:3 screen on a laptop since the T43 days. Even my T61 has a widescreen, although most "business"-minded laptops have the advantage of being 16:10 instead of 16:9 which helps improve the height a little bit, although you end up with resolutions like 1600x900 and 1680x1050.
