The late late show with James Corden

It premiered last night. I wasn't planing on watching it, but decided to record it anyhow.

Before viewing the show, I went online and read a few reviews. From what I seen, they were all decent reviews and a few were comparing him to Jimmie Fallon.
So I watched the show, and I find it "tame". Meaning no beeping, no yelling. It was just like every single other nightly talk show.
He has a band, a nice fresh set, even a bar on the set. But it was just like every other talk show out there.

At least with Craig what you had was unique. A robot, a fake horse, yelling, laughing, improvisation on the fly.

I'll give him a week, and I hope he manages to not be like every other nightly talk show out there.

Loved Craig Ferguson, he was a maverick; and Jimmy Fallon cracks me up.

That's a shame. Ferguson Cracked me up every time I tuned in. Like laugh out loud funny. I was hoping his successor would be in a similar vein. My only experience with Corden was when he played Craig (father of Stormageddon, Dark Lord of All) in a couple of Matt Smith Doctor Who episodes.

Ahh, that is where he is from. Damn, I loved those shows with those two.

Hmm, I wonder if the current Dr will have a run in with the "Dark Lord of All".
