[FiOS] FiOS Quantum DVR & Frontier a posibility?

The current 2 tuner DVR is deployed in all fios markets. With the most recent FiOS acquisitions, does anyone know if Frontier will deploy the newer Quantum DVR in the existing FiOS footprint? Also, Verizon had an upgrade path for existing customers, will Frontier adopt this if they are deploying?

You're not getting an answer because no one knows at this point; I wouldn't even count on Frontier having made decisions like these internally yet.

Any update on this? I had an outside sales rep try to tell me I would be getting a 6 tuner dvr with my FIOS TV service. I didn't believe him and called the regular line and they told me all they had were 2 tuners.

The best bet is to self support with a TiVo.

Since you are currently in Southern California served by Verizon, get the Quantum STB from Verizon before the Frontier acquisition transition happens. Frontier will not pull the newer Quantum equipment. There are too many Verizon FiOS Quantum customers in Florida, Texas or Southern California to do so.
