More like 60-65Mbps down and 5-7 Mbps up. I had the Uverse 24Mbps plan years back and never ever saw anything near that due to overhead, 18-20Mbps down. Why they advertise a speed that you will never reach and don't get called on it is beyond me.

Since then, AT&T has been over provisioning heavily, especially on VDSL2. The 24 Mbps plan now gets 30 Mbps download and 4.7ish Mbps upload.
