I have the 64-bit developer version, and 32-bit release side by side, it's simply a matter of using two profiles at once, which the developer version does automatically on windows. |

I just checked twice using the internal updater and it says that Firefox is up to date with 36.0.4. Does anyone know why it won't install 37.0?
Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit here. |

Patience. Releases are rolled out over time. |

Well it's on their website so you can get it now without using the ftp, but I'm sure they're aware of this. Maybe there is an issue with the mirror sites distribution currently, who knows.... |

This thread is 45 hours old yet an hour ago a scheduled Secunia scan alerted me that Firefox 36.0.4 is a security risk. My Firefox settings are auto-update in release channel. Manually invoking an update check comes back as "up-to-date". Not sure if a Mozilla screw-up or a local infection. Anyone else seeing false up-to-date claims from Firefox? edit: Ooops. NOW I read the entire thread rather than just first few posts. Nevermind. Maybe Mozilla needs to start charging $10/year/install so they can purch adequate server capacity. Would anyone complain? |

Question if I may, how big a download would I be looking at if I were to use the internal updater?
On version 34 now I believe. Not something I use all the time. |

From 34.0 the internal updater will just download the full 37.0 installer anyway. That is 39.0MB. |

Win 7 Home Premium 64 bit here. Interesting, I just tried also and getting the same message that 36.04 is the current version. Yesterday I had several internal update notifications for 37.0. I always wait awhile to see if anyone having issues with the update; found out many years (and headaches) ago that the latest is not always the greatest. So far today PC with Fx been on since 7 AM PST and no internal update notifications hence why I tried the 'About Firefox' to check for the 37.0 update and noted 36.04 is the current version. |

I was beginning to suspect as much... it has never taken me this long after release for the internal update to prompt me. |
