[Drama] Mad Men ending

I've seen them all. Last season is on now.
What will happen? Dunno.

HOWEVER!
Over/ under odds on Pete getting punched: even.
But who will whack him? Don? Peggy? Joan? Roger?

Tune in tonight, same Mad Time, same Mad Channel!

I'm pretty much done with Mad Men, I hardly watch the show when I'm watching it now anyway. I just watch it to see their reconstruction of the era in which it's set.

The previous time he was there, the other guy left $100 payment for an $11 food bill.

She thought it had come from him.

Either she interpreted that as advance payment for services, or else she thought there would be more of it.

As when she said something like "OK you got your moneys worth".

Perhaps she was actually attracted to him, as well.

I think these last few episodes have been very, very good.

In tonight's we see reinforcement of the idea that the big agency McCann Erickson bought Sterling Cooper ONLY for Don Draper. They don't give a shit about anyone else, especially Joan, and they are too stupid to realize how stupid that is.

But the McCann guy emphasizes this by saying "We bought a whole agency in Milwaukee just to get the Miller Beer account".

McCann Erickson is like the Borg, they assimilate lesser species.

Don takes off on some bizarre Jack Kerouac road trip, the McCann guy is furious.

But when you think about it, it's poetic justice.

McCann spent a lot of money to buy Sterling Cooper, thinking that they were buying Don.

But Don did not (and does not) want to be bought (or assimilated).

Money can't buy love....and maybe that will be the closing song of the final episode in 2 weeks.
