MAXX requires 16 channels down, 4 channels up. However, if you have a 8-channel modem you are never going to see 16 channels, so you won't really know if they exist.

I have a Zoom 5341J modem which is DOCSIS 3.0. On Zooms Website it says On the Downstream 8 channels can get you up to 343 MBPS and on 4 Upstream Channels you can get 123 MBPS. So is it TWC restricting my modem??

True for 300 mbps. For all lower MAXX speeds, eight channels down, four up are sufficient.

Eight channel modems are only capable of up to 200 mbps provisioning on TWC systems.

False. You have to have a 16x4 modem to access both 200x20 or 300x20. The fastest you can get with an 8x4 modem is 100x10.

No, you need a 16 channel modem for both the 200 and 300 Mbps plan.

Only for 50 and 100 you can suffice with a 8 channel modem.
