Best way to share a snapshot of a Line Monitor?

I can get get to my current hourly line monitor page via this URL: »/monit ··· e=151200

However, if that's how I wanted to share it and anyone else clicks on that, it will bring them to their own line monitor page and not mine.

I can post the URL to the image I am trying to share:
»tester1.ec2.dslreports.c ··· /Eastern

However, I'm asking how to share the image itself embedded into the post, without downloading the image myself and uploading it to my post as an attachment. Is that possible?

There was a (brief) time when I would use html img tags in posts to have more flexibility in composing with images. I was told that was not good, so I stopped.

More recently, I thought I read such html would automatically cause the image to be uploaded and converted to an attachment. If so, maybe that could save the download step. Looks like not so much. :(

You can just paste the link?

»tester1.ec2.dslreports.c ··· /Eastern

That's the puzzle I was trying to solve. Pasting the link was already acknowledged and rejected as a method.

Oh, well, on a mac you can just click drag any area of the screen to save that area as an image, then use that as an attachment. Its a useful utility doesn't windows have ifranview or something that does similar?

I guess the problem is if you were to live embed it, after a day, whatever you wanted to point out would be gone.

Hmm, okay. So downloading the image and uploading it as an attachment is the only way to show the current line monitor stats. Gotcha.

I run Linux and I have a hotkey to take a screenie, with various options for delay, area of screen, etc. I have seen a screenshot utility for Windows XP in Paint or something, and I imagine other versions of Windows have a way to do it. My investment in this thread was responding to OP, who certainly seems to know how to upload an attachment but is trying to avoid that. I thought I explained my first post, here, pretty thoroughly, as I wrote it, in reply to OP. I remember the live embed problem from my tag usage, long ago.

but, when I tried it in this thread, it didn't come out that way, ergo

I know how to upload an attachment. OP was trying to avoid downloading the image and uploading the attachment. That's pretty clear on Linux.
