Re: RadLight 3.03 R5.2 silently uninstalls Ad-Awar

It removes both AAW free and AAW+ according to the AAW developer. Radlight has screwed up very badly with this. Considering it's predatory and malicious behavior, I imagine other anti-spyware developers will also add this thing to their target lists out of self-defense.
Vampirefo,
that other issue was with a developer using his own product to do what it does. In this case, it is a media player which makes no mention anywhere that it is going to remove any software, let alone our software.
Anyone who wants to look, I've published Radlight's license on my site. »www.spywareinfo.com

No that is not true, Wayne was going after the keyfile made by a keygen, which he in fact did not make. Wayne's claim, and I use the word claim loosely. Was that he was deleting the keyfile, not made by him, to protect his program from being used in a different manner, than he wanted it used.

Wayne said he was only protecting his software, and his income. Guess what so is the author of RadLight, to him adaware is the keyfile keeping him from making money. As we all know Adaware, is a tool used by many to strip programs of their source of income and in turn still use the program.

The method Wayne used is no different than the method used by the author of RadLight, Both will swear on a bible they are just protecting their programs and trying to make money. I did notice the author of RadLight, hasn't stoop as low as Wayne did, and high Jack peoples browsers, and steal default e-mail address, but it takes time to get that low, I think Wayne said it took him 5 years, give this company a little more time, and they might be able to get an e-mail address or two themselves, LOL.

If one is a crook so is the other, both authors have taken extreme measure to make money, they are equal, Wayne is not a Saint and this person the devil, both are Saints, or both are the devil.

I stand corrected. Sorry about that.
