Re: RadLight 3.03 R5.2 silently uninstalls Ad-Aware In the meanwhile, we are (trying to) solve this problem, eg. putting Adaware out of business like that, regardless what method used - in conjunction with the Lavasoft/Adaware designer.
Keep you posted.

 | Your most welcome - I do hope it will work out in the end.
That said: Trusted zones etc. are very nice for those posting and lurking on sites like these. Alas: 99% of those using the net in one way or another haven't the faintest idea what all this is all about. It's a big pro in case anti-spyware software like AA is installed at all. IMHO one cannot expect the majority from AA users to keep up with all other solutions provided. Would be nice, but isn't the way it works in practice.
Thus, the software should take care of it - if possible and as much as possible. That should be the main goal; those reading this are a very, very small minority - sad but true.

| Paul, do you know if producers of Ad-Aware have submitted this to AV producers? Obviously the behavior is the behavior of a virus or Trojan and it should be classified as such by AV and AT producers. That way we can be assured that majority of people and not just the informed minority will be safe because most people run some sort of AV. -- You can catch the Devil, but you can't hold him long.
