Rogers (the cable internet provider here) is also planning to put in bandwidth caps this summer, apparently at the same 5 GB limit. Will they offer different speed packages? That remains to be seen. Any third-party DSL companies that may exist will likely end up putting in caps as well, since Bell will undoubtedly start charging them more for their data transfer. Bottom line is, we can't escape the caps here with such a limited market.
