Re: Need help removing McAfee!!! Looks like the registries are messy due to the "miss-use" of the computer. "miss-use" as in just deleting the folders of the program, leaving traces of remains of the program that might cuase conflict with other programs inn the future.
If she doesnt have anything valuable that she wants to keep on her computer then i recommend u to reformat.
That will also solve any future problems she might occur due to the messy registries. |

Just because of this one program, McAfee virus software. Its McAfee that puts all the keys in there like that but dont remove them when you run the uninstall. So I dont know about her computer but mine is full & I for one dont want to put all my other programs back on and tweak my DSL all over again just because I didn't want McAfee......
Who knows maybe he wants to be back over there next week.. 
PS.... jopfef McAfee says to do all the uninstalls and install in safe mode or thats what I read anyway...... |

| Paul, if she by some freak chance has the CD, and I can re-install McAfee, I'll definitely do it in Safe Mode.
