Re: Is it Possible to Buy Modem for Rogers?

I've had my modem for about 3 years and it's still working fine. If I get a decrease in my bill for having my own it will be worth it.

Brimicombe, my bills never stated what I was paying for modem rental but it is included in the price.

This is how my bill looks like:

Hi-Speed Internet Service.............44.95
Hi-Speed Cable Modem Rental............0.00

Thats exactly what I'm concerned about too, they originally said that they're increasing the price by $5 to cover modem rentals, but they dont list the $5 modem rental in the bill! I am sure they will do the same trick in the future. Whats funny is that it states that "regular modem rental" is $15! Sneaky bastards.
