xull1x join:2002-05-21 Markham, ON | I HATE ROGERS, HELP :( i'm in markham, ontario [carlton/kennedy] okay.. lemme tell you a nice little story. for the last 2 1/2 years, i've been bearing with bullshit by shaw + rogers. my friends got their cable about 1 1/2 year ago, and we all have the same problem. slow speeds. we always complain to rogers, tell them what's up. paste tons of traceroutes, pings, pics of games @ local servers w/ the nifty little phone jack. they don't do much.
they've sent enough dudes to my house, who say my "line is fine" and 200 ms pings to my gateway is fine. that's a bunch of bull. once, i got to talk to the techies (since they usually come in the morning, but this time he came afterschool), this guy just DROVE OFF when i told showed him my traceroutes!! then another techie guy basically said "please hold --- [talking to someone else] -- this guy on the phone is being a real asshole." i started swearing asap i heard that. :| i mean all i did was tell the guy about my traceroutes, etc.. he got scared and hung up, thats why remember to get the name of whoever u're talking to.
here's a sample of my yummy lag at 3am
