Sorry I messed up. Those pings are fine for that packet size. Its about the same as mine and I get speeds around 2.5Mb/s. Dont know what to tell yah

What does your tweak test look like?

Ok well to start you can download DrTcp and set your rwin to 29200 and windows scaling off and see what that does.

I have tried a lot of different rwins nothing helps in ping times.I have been using dr.tcp for 1 year still large packet pings should be under 200ms.This is the gateway website latency is worse.

If you lower the rwin it can help lower packet loss. There is no reason to run such a large buffer when you aren't getting speeds over 1mb/s even. Even if you got 5mb/s+ you wouldn't need such a high rwin

If you ping your phub with normal size packets what ping times do you get?

With 32 byte packets I average between 21- 35 ms.Of course to gateway.

I can recommend some Dr. TCP settings. Plato, I think it is a hardware issue you have, but you could try This
I noticed your tweak settings to be slightly extreme, what operating system are you using?

I am using winxppro,sohoware nic,terayon(sharkfin)modem and have tried different settings in dr.tcp but nothing drops the high pings.

Tweaking your settings, may and may not affect your latency. I know this guy, who tweaked and tweaked, and yet he still gets 305 ms to his GATEWAY! I have been getting some high pings lately, I guess you might just have to wait and see what comes back with that ticket.

Here are my ping times to my gateway using a 1472 byte packet size. (with Cogeco).. much lower than your >200 ms pings.
