| No Caps ?!?!?! Just reported in one of the Rogers newsgroups.
"At this time we have no plans to implement caps."
Either there has been a change, or the CRR had a braindump, or "at this time" is a huge escape clause, or some combination of the three!
Also, there are reports that Sympatico is having second thoughts about caps. |
|
 | Don't know about that one, I can't see they would just abandon their business model. I honestly doubt it. |
|
 | reply to sbrook I e-mailed rogers asking whether we are going to get caps, it was an automatic reponse, but i think we are getting them, they would of said we weren't getting them if we weren't.
"Rogers Hi-Speed Internet: up to 1.5 Mbs download, 192k upload
Download speeds can vary with Internet traffic, server or other factors.
We do not have any information regarding capping limits, usage charges or further tiered packages. If our packages change in any way, we will receive a formal communication via bulletin.

 | reply to sbrook This just made my day. Stuart, do you happen to have a link?
Now if we can only get them to raise your QOS Max Downstream Bandwidth. |

Considering they're now advertising 1.5/192 the chance of my d/l going at 3Mbits/sec is slim to none! |
