BK seems like good news If Adelphia files BK, I expect services to be more stabilized without interruption (or change of ownership) for even longer. In fact, I think it is possible that Adelphia might keep the whole thing if BK allows a good reorg of all the financials. In the meantime (next 1-2 years), promo deals to keep customers should be good.
Adelphia needs the revenue from the PL services, so I don't expect that to stop as long as the backbone providers continue to be around, and it looks like some of the backbone providers themselves (WCG, Above.net) that Adelphia uses are already in or near BK too so they won't disconnect Adelphia as they need the business too. |
