router setup for Rogers High Speed

I have the Linksys BEFSR41 router. I currently have Sympatico HSE and will trying Rogers High Speed for a month or so. Currently my hostname and Domain Name in the Setup panel for the router are blank. Anything special I need to put for Rogers? I will on the ym server. I'm in the Victoria Park and Van Horne of North York(Toronto). Thanks for your help.

@cpe.net.cable.rogers

I switched from Sympatico to Rogers last week and am trying to network 2 computers using 1 ip address. I have a 3com home gateway and have configured it using my static ip address. I cannot get the gateway to see the isp gateway. Is there something I am missing or do you have to configure the gateway differently because of the 1 ip address?

I believe it is a dynamic IP address for Rogers...no more static IP addresses'. It's been that way for quite a while. Make sure your Windows Network Places or Neighbourhood setup is setup for dynamic IP.
