that's just like charging extra if dsl isn't available in your area just because... what else are you going to get?

i agree with both sides on certain points

1) i don't think your letter will get you anywhere, although i do find it amusing

2) i don't think that rogers should be capping different areas at different speeds (shaw provides faster service in the "more diserable" part of vancouver)

I suspect it's a result of a rolling phase in of network standards ... remember that some Rogers areas were Shaw and other cable operators and as such they'd invested in other technologies, so changing them all over is a slow process.

I think my limit is a mistake on someone's part.
