| 1 year commitment on sign up rebate deal? Hi, I am currently on Sympatico and with their crap caps I've decided to switch to Rogers, taking advantage of the $100 rebate over 5 months. Is it true that they have a 1 yr commitment if the rebate deal is used?
And does anybody know when caps will come in place?

| Where did you hear that? I've been on that rebate plan before and cancelled within a year. I'm currently on my 3rd rebate plan since moving to my new address.
I usually take summers off high-speed, and resubscribe in mid-September. After the 9-11 thing, I got sick and tired of media in general and only renewed this past April after a marketing buddy at BCE warned me about bit caps coming later in the year.
Figured I'd take one last surf under the latest rebate plan. After all, the internet is just a passing fad...  |

Im on the rebate deal aswell and I havent heard anything of a 1 year commitment plan.
Ive seen that with DSL Services(private companies like Accessv).

did they mention any caps when you signed up.
Also, how did the set-up take place?
