Just like Optel

My apt. complex has this crappy cableco called Optel that also filed for Chapter 11, and two years later is STILL not out of it!. IDSL is my ONLY broadband option, and NorthPoint is the CLEC partner. I'm praying, crossing my fingers and toes, burning scented candles, and the whole bit that they come out Saturday to hook the router to my line. (OK, so I exaggerated a bit- I'm not burning scented candles. )

My apt complex uses Optel also and 3 years ago when I moved here they told me that I could get cablemodem but never seemed to get it. So I ended up getting ADSL through Pacific Bell and get around 900-1300 speeds out of it most of the time. So I guess it's probably better then that Optel company. Optel has a website at http://www.optelinc.com if you wanted to check out their "awesome designed" website - hehehe. Looks like something designed in 1994 if you ask me. Well good luck on your broadband endevours.
