do the The nodes go in the Hostname part of the router config ?

and if so...

can you choose any node you like ?

or

can you be charged extra if your on a node that isn't your own ?

I don't think you can choose the node you're on. I'm pretty sure it's a physical box that everyone in a certain area is connected to, and then it's connected to fiber that goes to Rogers, then the net.

Correct. For practical purposes, a node corresponds to a neighbourhood. The only way to change nodes, unless Rogers does a reconfiguration is to move!
